Getting started
1. Install — Run the installer. First launch creates your admin account.
2. Set up Company Profile — Enter your company details. This feeds into questionnaire responses and exports.
3. Explore the Response Library — Search 474 pre-written answers across 19 security categories.
4. Import a questionnaire — Upload an XLSX or CSV questionnaire from a customer or prospect. The matching engine auto-fills answers from your Response Library.
5. Run a Gap Assessment — Answer 40 questions to understand where your security program stands.
Common questions
Is Community really free?
Yes. No catch, no time limit, no feature degradation. Community is a fully functional desktop application. Professional adds power features for teams that handle questionnaires regularly.
Do I need to create an account?
No Ridgeline account. On first launch, you create a local admin account (username and password) stored on your machine. Not connected to any cloud service.
Can I upgrade to Professional later?
Yes. Purchase a Professional licence key from the product page. Enter it in Settings. All existing data carries over immediately.
What are the system requirements?
Windows 10 (version 1803+) or macOS 12+, 64-bit. ~50 MB disk space. 256 MB RAM minimum. No network required for core features — AI integration needs internet access to your chosen provider.
